Urbacon
(Permission: Cannon Design) – ARIDO Award of Merit 2009: When Urbacon, a leader in the development, design and construction, of high quality property assets, purchased an abandoned lakeside warehouse to house their 100 staff, they demanded the same attention to quality from the interior designers. The 46,800 sq. ft. project entailed extensive space planning, interior design development, phased documentation for permit application and separate tender packages and site administration. The experience was especially collaborative, since the client was also the builder, with a wealth of design and construction knowledge.
