Blue Line Room
For the funky makeover of Toronto’s Gladstone Hotel, an invitation went out to the neighbouring art community to create iconic rooms. Under the name of Ghost Design, Michel Arcand and artist Barr Gilmore collaborated in the transformation of an awkward 17 square metre space into an evocative, sexy fusion of striking graphic, media and contemporary furniture design. Its witty and impudent character is apparent the minute the door opens.
